About Us

Hey there! I’m Jay, and The Centre Circle is my passion project, a journey that started back in 2021 during my second year of engineering. What began as a shared obsession quickly turned into something more. I alongside my two friends started writing matchday blogs during the 2020 lockdown. But as college life got busier, our blogs faded into the background.

The Centre Circle wasn't something we planned. It all started when I wanted to create an Instagram page for Real Madrid fans (Hala Madrid!), but Aakash, a die-hard Barca fan, wouldn’t let that happen. After some friendly banter, we agreed to make it a neutral football community, and that's how The Centre Circle came to life.

We started with t-shirts, creating designs based on our favorite clubs, Real Madrid for me, and Barca for Aakash. Over time, we expanded to include more teams. But by 2022, as Aakash moved on from this, I was left to run the show on my own.

Since then, it’s been just me, balancing engineering, placements, and the hustle of building something I truly care about. With friends getting placed in big companies, I made the decision to pursue The Centre Circle full-time, putting my heart and soul into it. All the products you see today have been designed and created after I took over the brand solo, and it’s been one of the most rewarding challenges of my life.
